Emma Frost and Lady Loki

Folks, I’ve written a piece for my friend Liz’s site Cosplaynaut regarding Oz Comic-Con and how it went massively wrong PR-wise. We’d both be grateful if you could give it a look.

As the kids say these days, this is some totes amazeballs Black Widow cosplay from Oz Comic-Con back in June.

Lining up to get in on the Sunday of Oz Comic-Con behind these two excellent cosplayers was a tad surreal, to say the least. They (deservedly) got a lot of attention, as well as multiple requests for photos - which meant I had to duck out of shot quite often! (Jane, aka Emma Frost, has a Tumblr here.)

It’s SO hard to pull off Emma, but this - the costume, the makeup, wow. Yeah.

Agreed, it was excellent work. I was lucky enough to photograph her at Oz Comic-Con, she was really nice and very co-operative.

Batgirl (Steph Brown) (by brent-keane)

She was waiting in the queue for Francis Manapul, and she obtained a Superboy (Conner Kent) commission from him the next day. Great piece, too!

Its Jill on my blog! And her commission was of Red Robin…

Ah, you’re right, she confirmed that on her dA journal. The Superboy piece must’ve been for a friend. Thanks for the correction!
