This was essentially a Elseworlds take on the first film, asking “what if Luke missed the fateful shot while attacking the Death Star?” (Spolier: Leia gets turned to the Dark Side, and Yoda re-enters the story much earlier compared to ESB.) Well worth a read if you see it going cheap or at your library.
This poster comprises the interconnecting covers for Dark Horse’s adaptation of A New Hope (the ‘97 Special Edition, that is).
