IDW to Publish Star Trek/Legion of Super-Heroes Crossover [Comic-Con]

IDW Publishing made what will certainly be remembered as one of the most surprising and welcome announcements of this year’s Comic-Con when the company confirmed that it will produce a crossover comic book starring DC Comics’ Legion of Super-Heroes and Gene Roddenberry’s classic Star Trek characters. The project, written by Chris Roberson (iZombie, Superman), is a particularly inspired pairing for a crossover, and was met with strong approval from the San Diego crowd.

You have to admit, this makes more sense than having Kirk et al encounter the X-Men.

I found out earlier that Wiliam Shatner and Leonard Nimoy have birthdays only a few days apart, while being born in the same year (1931). How cool is that?
