It’s easy to write off the 1990’s as a wasteland of terrible grimaces, unnecessary pouches and holo-foil covers, but there was a wealth of material that was not only excellent, but vital to comics growing as an art form.  Grant Morrison’s Animal Man definitely falls into that latter category.
